The Pyramids of Arusha are named after the town in which they are located, Arusha, a beautiful and vibrant city in northern Tanzania. The city serves as a gateway to safari destinations like the Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, Lake Manyara, Tarangire National Parks and Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak.

It is the home of the Masaai and nyama-choma (bbq’d meat) and serves as the cultural crossroads for who all contribute to the town’s vibrant, laid-back home-away-from-home vibe. So, it comes as no surprise that Arusha has been named one of Africa’s most recommended places to visit.

Of-course, when its time, we’ll be sad to see you go. When heading home, you’ll be pleased to know that it’s just a 10-minute drive from the pyramids to Arusha airport and a mere 45-minute drive to the Kilimanjaro International Airport. If you’re heading to Kenya, then look forward to a short and scenic four-and-a-half-hour drive to your destination.
